In her words, “Photography is a passion with me that feeds my soul. I hope that through my images, I can share a part of the beauty and emotion that I feel when I bond with nature.” The natural beauty and diversity of California is the catalyst that drives Sharon's passion for photography. Sharon was born and raised in Binghamton, NY, a smaller city located in a verdant mountainous community upstate from NYC. Sharon moved to the East Bay in Northern California in 1985, where she has resided ever since. As a member of the Livermore Valley Camera Club that is associated with N4C regional statewide camera club and the national P.S.A., Sharon has won numerous awards on several different levels including first place in annual image judging, in addition to her work being published in the Best of Photography Annual. Sharon has recently added Special Event and Custom Portraits to her business service with special talents in photographing horses. Currently in June, 2006 her work is displayed at the Alameda County Fair.
